Meet the Team

Buhle is a Vice President at FCP based in Johannesburg and a member of our Leadership Forum. She has executed some of our most complex transactions in Rwanda, Kenya and Nigeria. Prior to joining the firm, Buhle worked at corporate finance advisory firms in South Africa advising on M&A, capital raising and BEE transactions across multiple sectors. She started her career at Old Mutual and subsequently joined Bridge Capital where she worked in their Corporate Finance team. Buhle completed her Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting (Honours) at the University of Cape Town and is a CFA Charterholder. Outside of work, Buhle is a highly competitive tennis player (top 5 SA player in 2024) who enjoys a challenge on and off the court.

Obey is an Associate at FCP based in Johannesburg. Obey’s transaction experience includes the Anthem transaction, which was awarded Private Equity Deal of the Year by DealMakers magazine. Prior to joining the firm, Obey worked in corporate finance advisory at Proximity Advisory and SNC Financial, where he focused on M&A, BEE transactions, financial due diligence and valuation assignments across multiple sectors. Obey holds a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Solusi University, Zimbabwe. Earlier in his career, Obey was a pilot of helium balloons. He is also an ordained church elder.

Prior to joining FCP in 2023, Ricardo worked as a junior buy-side equity analyst at Cachalia Capital, where he was responsible for evaluating portfolio investments and preparing fund performance and attribution reports, with coverage including the telecommunications sector. Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Business Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand. A disciplined martial artist, Ricardo holds a black belt
in Krav Maga.

Olivier is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of FCP based in Johannesburg. Prior to co-founding FCP in 2021, Olivier was Managing Director and co-Head of Investment Banking for Goldman Sachs for sub Saharan Africa. In this role, he led the firm’s investment banking operations in the region, overseeing teams in both Johannesburg and London. He was appointed Managing Director in 2013 and co-Head of Investment Banking for Sub-Saharan African in 2019. Olivier started his career at J.P. Morgan in 2001, after graduating from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, and led the rest-of-Africa team up until joining Goldman Sachs in 2010. In 2008, he was seconded to Tony Blair’s Africa Governance Initiative in Sierra Leone. Olivier is a member of the supervisory body of Greenpeace Africa. In his past time, Olivier cooks, runs, swims, and pretends to know how to surf.

Tshegofatso joined FCP in February 2022 as one of FCP’s first analysts and has been involved in M&A advisory and capital raising transactions across sectors including quick service restaurants, FMCG, paper and packaging manufacturing, financial institutions, renewable energy, and data centres. Tshegofatso advised Actis on the sale of Java House and worked on the Anthem transaction, which was awarded Private Equity Deal of the Year by DealMakers magazine. Tshegofatso holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg. Tshegofatso enjoys staying active through running, having run in excess of 25 half marathons.

Prior to joining FCP in 2025, Andile worked at Munich Re as an engineering trainee within the non-life division, supporting property treaty underwriting across international markets. Before that, he completed a procurement graduate programme at A.P. Moller – Maersk. Andile holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town.

Victor Milos is an associate at FCP and joined as graduate in 2022 after an internship with the firm. Victor was one of FCP’s first staff members. At FCP, he has been involved in M&A advisory and capital raising transactions across sectors including infrastructure, food security, real estate, renewable energy, and data centres. He worked on our first transaction at FCP, the successful series B by Victory Farms. Victor holds a Master’s degree in Investment Banking and Capital Markets from IESEG School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Groupe Excelia La Rochelle.

Mametse joined FCP in 2026 as an analyst. Prior to that, Mametse worked in wealth advisory at PSG Wealth and as a Private Banking Analyst at RMB Private Bank. Mametse holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting (Honours) from the University of Cape Town and a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand. Mametse has recently taken up boxing and enjoys the challenge of the sport.

Joined FCP in 2025 as Chairman of its Advisory Board, bringing over three decades of distinguished leadership in banking and financial services. He previously served as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Plc, Nigeria’s largest bank by Tier-1 capital, from 2019 until his retirement in May 2024, having joined the Bank in 2002 and played a pivotal role in its rise as one of Africa’s leading financial institutions. In recognition of his transformative leadership, he was named Africa’s Bank CEO of the Year by the London-based International Banker magazine in both 2023 and 2024.

Judd joined FCP in 2026 as an analyst from university. He completed internships at VAT IT, Investec Bank, Standard Bank, and Nitinol Capital. Judd holds a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting (Honours) from the University of Cape Town and graduated with distinction in Finance. Judd has competed as a provincial-level soccer player.

Menalla is a Senior Advisor to FCP based in Cairo since 2023. Prior to joining FCP as a Senior Advisor, Menatalla was CEO of Hassan Halam Utilities (HAU). At HAU, she led efforts to build Egypt’s leading platform for renewable energy, water, logistics, and green infrastructure, backed by domestic and international investors. She started her career at Barclays, worked at Standard & Poor’s in Stockholm, at Beltone Financial, a leading Egyptian investment bank, and was also CIO at Egypt's largest automotive player and non-bank financial institution GB Corp . A CFA Charter holder, she was a founding member of the CFA Societies of Sweden and Egypt.

Raylene is FCP’s Head of Operations and a member of our Leadership Forum. Prior to joining the firm, Raylene held roles across operations, enterprise and supplier development, travel and hospitality, event management, and office administration. She has supported operational management and organisational initiatives across multiple sectors. Raylene holds a BBBEE Management Development qualification from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Christian is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of FCP. Prior to co-founding the firm in 2021, Christian was Managing Director and Regional Head of M&A for Standard Chartered Bank covering the Middle East and Africa. He oversaw the bank’s regional M&A franchise, managing teams across Dubai, Johannesburg, and Lagos. Christian started his career at Morgan Stanley in 2001, after graduating from the Stockholm School of Economics. He also worked at Goldman Sachs in London as an Executive Director prior to joining Standard Chartered. Christian is Non-Executive Director of Gamma Civic and Chairman of its Audit & Risk Committee. In his past time, Christian farms apples in Southern Sweden.
