Our name is also inspired by the "Flight of the Flamingos" - the positive pathway outlined in South Africa's landmark 1992 Mont Fleur Scenario Project.This scenario envisioned a future where diverse groups collaborate, leaders enact sustainable policies, and the nation takes off collectively toward inclusive growth. Much like the birds in that vision, while these populations are resilient, their critical breeding grounds face constant environmental pressures, making them heavily reliant on targeted conservation efforts to survive and thrive. The impact of human intervention - from restoring habitats to protecting vulnerable populations, serves as a testament to how intentional action can protect and reshape our ecosystem.
